Nockolds Business Hub: A Series of Business Legal Advice Seminars

Join us on Tuesday 9 April at our office in Bishop's Stortford, 9.30am – 10.30am when Nockolds will be offering a free seminar discussing "Debt Recovery & Enforcement – Key Updates from 2023".

Whilst the Covid-19 pandemic saw an increase in debt, coupled with a number of measures introduced by the government to put a hold on debt recovery and enforcement action, by 2023 these measures were largely lifted. Therefore, creditors were once again, able to take steps to recover their debts. This seminar will look at the key take home messages from 2023 and will discuss which methods are still available, which appear to be the popular choice and which legislation has changed recently. It will also cover helpful tips on debt recovery and enforcement action generally, particularly in relation to small claims. This seminar will be presented by Saagar Mehta, Associate in our Dispute Resolution Team.

The Nockolds Business Hub is a series of seminars, which address a wide range of commercial legal issues to give you the opportunity to learn key concepts of the law that affect the running of a business, giving you the knowledge to help you navigate any legal challenges that come your way. This series of seminars are free and are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, 9.30am - 10.30am at our offices in Bishop’s Stortford. Each presentation will be around 20 minutes long, followed with the opportunity to speak to our team of lawyers.
